71 year old Edward Holbrook recently earned Eagle making him perhaps the oldest person to ever earn the badge. Years ago some paperwork got lost and it was recently uncovered when Mr Holbrook asked for old photos from his old scout camp. With them he got records showing he earned badges that made him eligible for Eagle. His daughter took it all to BSA and they decided to award him his Eagle badge.
Moral of the story? Make sure you keep up with the badges you earn and keep a copy of your records yourself!
