Court of Honor March 12th

The Court of Honor has been scheduled for March 12th. This is where we recognize all the archivements in the troop for the last six months. Parents, plan to be there to see your scouts get their awards!

Scouts, the cutoff for merit badges and rank advancements to be awarded at the Court of Honor is February 27th so get your blue cards completed and turned in and schedule your board of reviews by that night!

Merit Badge College at Alabama A&M

The troop will be participating in the Merit Badge College at Alabama A&M on February 25th. This is a great chance to earn merit badges in a couple of hours on a Saturday morning. Plan to attend and stay tuned for details!

Ski Trip Meeting

There will be a ski trip meeting on Monday, February 6 at 6PM at Cove Methodist to discuss the trip. One parent should attend with their scout that is going skiing.

6 February Application for Leadership Position due for scouts running for SPL, ASPL and Patrol Leader

13 February Campaign Speeches

20 February Elections

TBD (Prior to March 5) New leaders training and joint PLC meeting with outgoing leaders

12 March Court of Honor and beginning of leadership term.

I'm pleased to report that on Monday, January 30th Joey Connor completed his BOR and advanced to the rank of First Class. Joey showed good Scout spirit and resourcefulness in completing all of his requirements. Congratulations, Joey! Keep up the good work!
