No Meeting Monday Night this Week or Next!

There will be no meeting Monday, May 21st because of exams and Monday May 28th because of the holidat. See you all June 4th!

Please see our Eagle Project Method page to see how a scout can initiate his project, ideas for projects and other information important to the process.

Some of our projects require you to logon before you can see them since the scout's parents wished the information to remain restricted to troop members only.

Gunnar Hulebak - Benches for HCMS (2011)

Hampton Cove Middle School has recently added an art exhibit and mural to the halls of the school.  There was a need to have a viewing area in front of this art for students to sit and reflect and to create a gathering area.  I designed four eight foot benches to be positioned in the area near the mural.  These benches are constructed of 2 x 6 inch pine stock and designed to seat a total of 20 students at a time.  I constructed these benches in my garage with donations from friends and family and with the help of my fellow scouts.  A total of XXX hours were needed to cut, assemble, and finish these benches.  More to follow with photos...................
