No Meeting Monday Night this Week or Next!

There will be no meeting Monday, May 21st because of exams and Monday May 28th because of the holidat. See you all June 4th!

Please see our Eagle Project Method page to see how a scout can initiate his project, ideas for projects and other information important to the process.

Some of our projects require you to logon before you can see them since the scout's parents wished the information to remain restricted to troop members only.

Joe Rivenburgh - Teen Shelter Repair (2011)

Joe Rivenburgh Eagle Project_1Tennessee Valley Family Services operates a Teen Shelter in Huntsville to provide for teens in difficult circumstances.  This shelter is an older home which is in need of some repair and renovation.  My crew of scouts pressure washed the carport and the front porch.  We prepared and painted the front porch and installed two bench swings.  We prepared and painted a gathering room and installed lockers for use by the residents.  We also were required to move the shelter sign, reinstall it, and install landscaping around the sign.
